John Divney is founder and CEO of divbox, a leader in web technology development, with over 15 years of experience in the web space. John’s expertise spans business and technical management in Internet product development and web analytics. John has a superior ability to translate business needs and requirements into technical solutions, acting as an “interpreter” to bring these two divergent groups and personalities together. Always innovating and problem-solving, divbox consistently surpasses client expectations.
Before starting divbox in May 2008, John worked at America Online for 13 years, starting in their Tucson, AZ call center, and working his way up to Technical Director of AOL’s Registration Team. John was personally responsible for bringing AOL’s registration systems to the web, allowing AOL to secure millions of additional users to their product offerings. Leading a team of over 20, globally dispersed web engineers, John enabled the AOL marketing machine to double their A/B testing projects each year for 4 consecutive years. Many of the systems and processes he designed and built are still in place today.
John currently lives in New York, NY, with his wife Natalie and 2 Labrador retrievers, Sam and Madi.
