Loudoun International Youth Leadership Summit
"Connect the Pieces, Find the Harmony, Create the Big Picture"
April 8 to April 17, 2018
The Loudoun Education Foundation is excited to support the Loudoun International Youth Leadership Summit (LIYLS), a global peer-to-peer experience that is 21st century learning at its finest. Students from around the world descend on Loudoun to take on global issues like access to education, the environment, migration and refugees, and racial and ethnic divisions.
Seven Loudoun high schools will host approximately 28 international delegations in 2018, including schools from Australia, Austria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, and Tanzania.
LEF received a $7,700 Tikva Grant from Beth Chaverim Reform Congregation in support of the 2018 Loudoun International Youth Leadership Summit. Additional sponsors are welcome.
