The Loudoun Education Foundation honors excellence in education through its annual Outstanding Teacher Recognition Dinner. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are unable to hold an in-person event, but we still want to honor these excellent educators through this campaign. The award highlights the excellence of our teachers throughout the county, while highlighting the work of its nominees, as well as the Teacher and Principal of the Year recipients.

This year, the Loudoun Education Foundation is proud to honor thirty-eight of Loudoun County Public Schools extraordinary educators during Teacher Appreciation Week. The Outstanding Teacher Recognition campaign is hosted by the LEF and supported through sponsorships. This year’s campaign will be running from Monday, May 3rd through Friday, May 7th. The campaign will honor the LCPS Teacher of the Year, Principal of the Year, New Teacher of the Year for Elementary Schools, New Teacher of the Year for Secondary Schools, and thirty-four other educators that were nominated for the 2021 Washington Post Outstanding Teacher Award.

If you are interested in sponsoring this year’s campaign, please contact Dawn Meyer at lef.meyer@gmail.com or Danielle Nadler at danielle.nadler@lcps.org.
