Scholarships for Students

Willowcroft World Language Fluency Scholarship
Apply: Fall 2025
This scholarship funds students’ enrollment to a summer immersion language program, either domestic or international. The scholarship is provided to students 16 years or older during the summer after their junior year. It is funded by Lewis Parker to promote world language fluency.

Willowcroft Science Scholarship
Apply: Jan 21-March 25, 2025
Two scholarships of $5,000 each will be awarded to LCPS seniors who are participating in the Loudoun County Regional Science and Engineering Fair. It is funded by Lewis Parker and intended to reward and motivate student research. For more information, email Tracy Matthews.

Elaine Avington Griffin Unsung Educator Scholarship
Apply: Jan 21-March 25, 2025
This scholarship awards $1,000 to a graduating senior with a parent or guardian who is a current LCPS classified employee in one of the following positions: Custodial, Food Services, Maintenance, Transportation or Warehouse.

Diversifying the Teaching Workforce Scholarship
Apply: Jan 21-March 25, 2025
This scholarship supports aspiring educators who are from populations under-represented in the teaching workforce. Both Loudoun County Public Schools graduating seniors and classified employees qualify. The award is up to $12,000.

Tools for Success Scholarship
Apply: Jan 21-April 9, 2025
This scholarship is for graduating seniors pursuing careers in trades and industry such as but not limited to auto servicing, auto collision, construction, masonry, welding, and HVAC. Students directly entering the workforce or pursing a trade school/registered apprenticeship program are encouraged to apply. Each award provides up to $1,000 to go toward tools or the cost of training that better positions graduating seniors to work in the selected industry.

Diversifying the Teaching Workforce Scholarship
Apply: Jan 21-March 25, 2025
This scholarship supports aspiring educators who are from populations under-represented in the teaching workforce. Both Loudoun County Public Schools graduating seniors and classified employees qualify. The award is up to $12,000.

Claude Moore Charitable Foundation Teacher Scholarship
Apply: Jan 21-March 25, 2025
This scholarship is awarded to either Loudoun County Public Schools classified employees seeking their teaching license or current teachers seeking a certificate in a critical shortage area as defined by VDOE. The award is up to $5,000.
