Scholarships Awarded and Supported by LEF

Diversifying the Teaching Workforce Scholarship
The Diversifying the Teaching Workforce Scholarship is Loudoun Education Foundation’s newest scholarship, dedicated to supporting aspiring educators who are from populations under-represented in the teaching workforce. Graduating high school seniors and LCPS classified staff members whose employment would reduce the inequities in the diversity of the teacher workforce are eligible. It provides up to $12,000 in tuition support. Deadline to apply is April 30, 2022. See application here.

Claude Moore Charitable Foundation Teacher Scholarship

The Loudoun Education Foundation awards this scholarship to current Loudoun County Public School teachers who are seeking certification or licensure endorsements in critical teaching shortage areas. Thanks to the generosity of the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation, the LEF will offer five scholarships for $5,000 each. Details here.

Edgar B. Hatrick III Scholarship for Future Leaders In Education

This scholarship provides up to $2,500 to LCPS employees who are seeking an Administrative Degree (Administration and Supervision License). Details here.

LEF Classified Employee Scholarship

The Loudoun Education Foundation (LEF) awards four scholarships to current Loudoun County Public School classified employees who want to be certified teachers. The LEF funds this scholarship for $1,250 each. Details here.
